The LAUNCH Millennium Master 2.0 makes writing new injector codes to your ECU simple. Follow these 4 rapid steps:
Step 1: Locate Code Find the unique calibration code printed directly on your new injector's body or packaging, and write it down.
Step 2: Enter Menu Connect the scanner, use AutoVIN to identify your vehicle, then go to "Reset" or "Special Function" and select "Injector Coding."
Step 3: Input & Write Select the specific cylinder you just repaired, type in the new calibration code exactly as printed, and tap confirm to write it to the ECU.
Step 4: Verify Clear any old codes and start the engine to ensure smooth idling and verify that no check engine lights return.
⚠️ Why this matters: Skipping this step after replacing an injector (especially on diesel engines) causes the computer to use the wrong fuel delivery math, leading to rough idling, black smoke, or poor fuel economy.
Your device may require an initial software update after activation. This is a normal setup step that ensures you receive the latest software version, vehicle coverage, and feature improvements.
